Understand the Need
Keila came to us struggling to pay rent and keep food in her home. After providing her with food, we continued to follow up with her. We encouraged her to find a more affordable place to live and prayed over her current job search. Since that follow up, she has moved to an affordable home, found a great new job and is seeing her life turn around.
Rose has been struggling to get back on her feet since her place of employment was destroyed in the 2011 tornado. Her son has recently been diagnosed with a genetic pancreas disease, which is exhausting her mentally, physically, spiritually and financially. We have been blessed to be able to assist her during this time while also praying over her. We look forward to continuing our relationship with her through our Journey program.
But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
